Tam też wygrał Dongo sumę 179.700 DM, otrzymując w handikapie (GAG) 94,5kg. Był bardzo dzielnym stayerem – plasował się drugi w Mülheim Frühjahrs-Steher-Preis Listed i Kölner Steher-Preis Listed oraz trzeci w Silbernes Band der Ruhr Listed, Kölner Steher Preis Listed i Oleander-Rennen Grupa 3. Warto wspomnieć, że ojcem matki Dongo jest wyhodowany na Węgrzech zwycięzca Derby w Budapeszcie i Pradze, drugi w Derby w Wiedniu w 1970 roku – świetny Norbert. | | | |
